BEWARE OF SOMETHING MORE CONTAGIOUS THAN THE CORONAVIRUS

Beware! If you thought Coronavirus is the most contagious thing in the world right now, this piece of information is about to both shock you and blow your mind out at the same time!

While the world has isolated itself to keep safe in this pandemic, doctors claim that there is something more communicable than Corona. What could be worse is that this needs no contact to be transmitted. It can not only be developed and transmitted within one’s own home but can also be transmitted over the phone in a conversation or while simply browsing through Instagram.

Now, while not everything that is transmitted is infectious and dangerous, this happens to be one of those.

One which must be spread as far and wide during these difficult moments. SMILE!

Yes. Smiling is way more contagious than any flu or virus, and professionals say there’s absolutely no cure for it. A simple smile can not only go a long way, but it also has a reputation to start new relationships and fix broken bonds. It’s also known to elevate your own personal mood and relieve stress. Now while it only takes a few muscles to portray and pass on a smile to someone, did you know that your teeth play a very important role in flaunting that perfect curve? Don’t believe us? Check these few smiles without a good set.

While we scared you enough with the above image, here is one with a group of happy smiling people, who clearly have the power to give you a reason to flaunt your curve, without even meeting you personally.

Fixing your smile has no age and boundaries. Doing it young might have its own added advantages, but your smile and hence your teeth can be fixed at any point in your life, thanks to our professionals. With the advancement of technology and today’s innovations in the medical field, here we give you some more reasons to choose a healthier smile that you’ve always dreamed about.

Healthy Teeth

With crooked teeth, it becomes difficult to reach all the spots and brush properly. This leads to the formation of bacteria, plaque and hence cavities in those unreached areas. Fixing your smile will help you avoid having any extra years of dental work and suffer through any periodontal disease

Healthy You

The human body is made up of amazing and interesting complex systems. Every part is dependent on another, and consequently, what goes wrong with one will affect another. It is a proven fact that poor oral hygiene can affect and provoke serious health issues, such as heart diseases or a stroke. As age is already a reason to get closer to these health issues, why should we simply add to it?

Confident you

How you see yourself, only gets important as you age. Whether its to advance in your career, social or love life, a bright smile can do way more than you just think. Embarrassment due to your smile can lead to isolation, and in turn, affects you mentally and emotionally. However, if you manage to get that beautiful smile, you’ll find yourself renewed and your confidence will be radiated as soon as you walk into a room.

If the above sounds good, and you definitely want all of that, what’s holding you back? If it’s because you find it embarrassing to roam around with metal braces for two or three years, then worry not! We’ll guide you through just the right thing for you. The orthodontics industry has come a long way, making it so easy for people to get braces at any time and age. There’s a variety of ortho options available besides the traditional metallic braces. Following are the different braces options available to you.

Traditional Metallic Braces

Traditional braces are typically the least expensive option while being very effective, and are one of the most common types of braces in use today. They involve the use of brackets and wires and are made out of metal. When attached to the teeth, these allow their positioning to be altered. However, since they are the most noticeable type, most people avoid ortho treatment because they feel self-conscious about their appearance.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are similar to the traditional metal braces in size and shape. The only difference is that they are entirely constructed of ceramic material. This has an added advantage of the ceramic blending into the natural colour of the teeth making the braces far less noticeable.

However, they are comparatively more expensive than your traditional metallic braces and are also prone to getting stained easily if not taken care of properly.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are again similar to the traditional metallic braces. However, they are placed behind your teeth, rather than in front and hence cannot be seen.

With the advantage comes a disadvantage. The obvious added advantage being the fact that this kind of braces are not directly visible and are hidden behind the teeth. However, they are also less effective and often take longer to achieve your desired tooth alignment. They tend to be way more uncomfortable as it comes in direct contact with the tongue. They are far more difficult to clean.

Invisalign

Invisalign are a distinct type of braces because they do not involve any sort of brackets and wires. They are a series of custom-made clear plastic aligners, to be worn over the teeth. These aligners can be easily removed and replaced with the next one in the series every two weeks throughout the required treatment period. It completely depends on the type of individual, and the time it will take to achieve the desired results.

Self-Ligating braces

Self-ligating braces are almost similar to traditional metal braces. What differs is that they utilize clips rather than elastic bands to hold the wire of the brace in place. Hence, friction applied on the braces is much less and it is usually easier for the individual to keep the braces and teeth clean.
